Seeking new team members

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is seeking caring individuals to join its growing team, helping to support more people living with cancer in the future.

It is now 16 years since HRCC was founded in memory of the late sports presenter Helen Rollason, and we are looking to build on our strong foundations, helping our dedicated employees, trustees, and supporters to grow the charity further.

We have two opportunities as part of the Charity’s succession planning:

Support Centres Development Manager

The role will be based at the Charity Head Office in Hatfield Peverel, and report to the Board of Trustees.

Purpose of the role:
* To develop a strategic overview of the locations of the current Support Centres – Essex, Hertfordshire and London – and the range of services delivered at/from each centre.
* To identify and recommend appropriate new locations and/or services and develop plans to implement these recommendations.
* Ultimate day-to-day management of the Support Centres.
* Hours by negotiation. Could be full, part-time or job share.

Specialist Trustees

The current trustees of HRCC are conscious of the need to widen the representation of skills on the Board of the Charity.

Do you have skills in the following areas?
Personal/HR, Law or Retail

We would be pleased to receive expressions of interest from people who feel they could contribute to the governance of the Charity in these areas.

Normal attendance would be once a month at our Trustee meetings.
