HRCC team motor back in time!

With just a couple weeks to go until the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity (HRCC) annual Vintage Fair, staff have been getting into character and embracing life from a different era!

Members of the HRCC Fundraising Team time-warped themselves back to the 50s when they met classic car enthusiast Colin Moles to admire his gleaming range of classic cars that have toured the world.

The Fair – now in its sixth year – is on Sunday 4, September at Cressing Temple Barns and this year’s event is already shaping up to be the most fantastic one yet.

“There will be a wide variety of stalls selling eye-catching vintage delights,” said Fundraising Manager, Kate Alden.

“If shopping is not you for you, then check out our shiny display of vintage cars, and chat to their owners. The pop-up hair and beauty salon will be offering a touch of glamour for those visitors looking for a make-over.

“Visitors will be entertained by The Kingsmen, The Harmonettes, Air Raid Jive and Mr Dickie Bows. Children can enjoy traditional games such as hook-a-duck and the coconut shy, as well as Punch and Judy,” added Kate.

“And when you want to catch your breathe there’s a variety of food and drink on offer from summer favourites such as Pimms or just an old fashioned lovely cuppa from our pop-up tearoom.”

“We’re adding new attractions each week, with prices at Adults £5, Concessions and Students £4 and Under 16’s going free, I’m sure you will agree this is a great fun family day out!” said Kate.

You can book tickets in advance – Take advantage of HRCC’s 2 for price of 1 entrance ticket offer by visiting one of the Charity’s shop, details of locations are available on the HRCC website. Alternatively, you can pay on the day.
