Best Complementary Medicine Organisation Award

The Helen Rollason Cancer Support Centres have received a national award for supporting people living with cancer.

We have been given the 2010-11 award for ‘Best Complementary Medicine Organisation’ by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine (ICNM).

This award recognises the work of our centres in providing therapies that complement our clients’ medical treatment - including massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.

The award was presented to Lorna Ellis, the charity’s Cancer Support Centres Manager, by the Institute’s Membership Manager, Zanele Woods.

A delighted Lorna said: “We know that cancer can affect people emotionally as well as the physical symptoms. This award recognises the way we support our clients by using therapies that work together with their medical treatment.”
