LIVE WELL EXPERIENCE FAQs

Q: What should I wear for my stay?
A: Comfortable, casual clothes. Make sure you bring wet-weather gear plus stout walking shoes or walking boots if you wish to walk along the rugged coastline.

Q: What should I bring?
A:. Toiletries including soap, shampoo, slippers and toothpaste. Stationery including pen and paper.

Q: Will there be an en suite bathroom in the room?
A: All rooms are twin rooms with en suite facilities, or a bathroom within a few metres, complete with bath robes and towels.

Q: Will I have to share my room with someone else?
A: If you bring a guest they will be sharing with you. If you are attending on your own you will be sharing with another guest of the same sex.

Q: Is the retreat suitable for children?
A: No, the course programme is specifically tailored to cater for adults.

Q: Will you have a medical representative resident on site?
A: No, however we have access to 24 hour medical cover.

Q: Do I have to attend the group-counselling sessions?
A: Group-counselling sessions take up a large proportion of the timetable and we see them as vital to your progress. We recommend you attend them.

Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: The Centre does not allow pets, however, guide dogs for the blind and the disabled are welcome. Please contact us in advance before bringing your pet. However there are three resident cats.

Q: What type of food will be served?
A: A vegetarian menu, including a fish option, will be served.

Q Will I be able to make and receive phone calls?
A: Bedrooms are not fitted with phones but you will be able to make personal calls from the house phone situated in the entrance hallway. Calls will be charged to you at cost. You may also wish to bring your mobile phone, which you can use to receive and make calls provided you have agreed international roaming with your mobile service supplier before you leave.

Q: Should I take any Euroes with me?
A: During your stay a lot of your time will be spent at the centre but there are opportunities to visit the local area where you may wish to spend some money.
