There are many ways members of the local community can support the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

Become a "friend of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity"
We have a large number of individuals who voluntarily give up their time to raise the awareness of the charity and fundraise for us. We are indebted to the Friends of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for the time and energy they give to the charity. Many of our Friends have had cancer themselves or know someone who has benefited from our services. Some of our Friends simply want to help out in whatever way they can.

We hold regular bi-monthly meetings with our Friends and this gives everyone an opportunity to talk and exchange experiences in the world of cancer and fundraising. The meetings are organised by the charity and also provide the opportunity to share significant charity news. Anyone is welcome to come along to these meetings.

Attend one of our social fundraising events
We have a full list of local social fundraising events (see link opposite). If you are organising an event in aid of HRCC and would like it to be published on our website, please contact the charity office on 01245 514325.

Participate in organised charity sporting events activities
There are many exciting fundraising activities members of your company may be interested in, such as the London Marathon, tandem parachute jump, overseas treks and many more (see 'Sports & Outdoor Pursuits' link opposite).

If you would like raise funds for the charity by taking part in an organised activity, please contact the fundraising team on 01245 514325 who will be able to offer you support and potentially press coverage.

Community groups and clubs
There are many ways community groups and clubs can support us:

Charity of the year
Nominate us as your designated charity of the year and we can work together throughout the year to raise much needed funds and awareness for the charity. There are many different ways your group or club can support us for the year including displaying our charity collections tins and literature and organising regular fundraising events and activities.

Advertising
Advertise your organisation within the charity magazine, Moment, (circulation 8,000) at a very competitive rate. There are also advertising opportunities within our event brochures we publish throughout the year.
