There are many ways your school, college or university can support the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

Charity of the year
Nominate us as your designated charity of the year and we can work together throughout the year to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the charity. There are many different ways your school, college or university can support us including; displaying our charity collection tins and literature and organise regular fundraising activities, which is a great way for students to have some fun!

Fundraising
Organising a one-off fundraising event can give schools or colleges a great PR and marketing opportunities while also raising funds and support for the charity. It is also a fantastic way for students, staff and parents to work together as a team. Fundraising activities could be as simple as a non-uniform day, quiz nights, pamper evenings or a charity ball.

Participate in organised charity activities
There are many organised activities such as ASICS British London 10K, Mazda London Triathlon, London Marathon, Great North Run, London to Paris cycle ride, tandem parachute jump, overseas treks and many more, which students or staff may be interested in. If you would like to raise funds for the charity by taking part in an organised activity, please contact the fundraising team who will be able to offer you support and potentially press coverage.

Advertising
Advertise your school or college within the charity magazine, Moment, which has a circulation of over 8,000, at a very competitive rate. There are also advertising opportunities within our event brochures, which we publish throughout the year.

Collection Tins
Display the charity collection tins in the college canteen or reception area for both students and staff to donate cash if they wish.

Recycling Old Mobile Phones
Collect old mobile phones, which the charity can claim £5 per phone for. Please don’t throw them away.

How the charity can support your schools, college or university

The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity values all our supporters and there are several ways we can help promote your organisation as a caring employer who takes social responsibility seriously.

The charity has a full time Press Officer who has excellent links with the press and media, which we can utilise to publish information about your company fundraising activities, money raised and any interesting activities the school or college is planning.

We also have a charity magazine Moment, which is published quarterly, where we can mention your school or college and the great fundraising activities you are organising.

The charity website lists our Education Partners where we can include your logo and a link to your school or college’s website.
