The residential centre is situated along Ireland's rugged West coastline in the northern border county of Donegal, about ½ mile from the small town of Dunkineely and sited on the northern land-side of St John's Point peninsula.
By Air
The most convenient airport is City of Derry in Northern Ireland, which the low-cost airline Ryanair flies to twice daily. Log onto its website at www.ryanair.com for its best prices.
Note: If you are flying into City of Derry airport there will be one minibus pickup for guests provided by the Centre on the day the course begins. The journey from the airport to the centre takes about 90 minutes passing through the Blue Stack mountain range as you near Donegal town. Please notify Irene Singleton on 01245 515242 if you require this service.
By Road
If you are driving from the north of Ireland you will need to travel south on the A5 to Strabane/Lifford. From here pick up the N15 and travel through Balleybofey and further south to Donegal town. Then travel west on the N56 - the Helen Rollason Residential Centre is located along the N56 just outside Dunkineely. (See a more detailed route on the following page).
If you are driving from the south of Ireland you will need to travel north on the N3 until you reach junction N87 (signposted Ballyshannon). From here pick up the A509 and travel through Aghalane, Teemore and Derrylin. Bear right at the junction with the B108, continuing along the A509. At junction A4 (Scaffog) turn right onto the A4, then join the A32 at Enniskillen. Stay on this road until you reach Irvinetown where you will pick up the A35. When you reach the border, take the R232 to junction N15. At junction N56/R267 follow the N56 to Dunkineely. The Helen Rollason Residential Centre is located along the N56 just outside Dunkineely.
