A busy start to July for HRCC

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity will be celebrating the start of July with an action-packed weekend of fundraising and events. To start with, on Friday 7 July, HRCC is holding a charity golf day at Colne Valley Golf Club, near Colchester. This fantastic all-day, all-inclusive event includes: a welcome coffee and bacon roll, a game of 9-hole Texas Ramble, lunch, an 18-hole Stableford competition and a two-course dinner with a raffle and auction. Tickets cost £65 per person, or £260 for a team of four. If you are interested in taking part, please call the office on 01245 380 717.

For those who love to party, HRCC will be joining in with the fun at Hatfield Peverel’s Party in the Park, on the Saturday 8 July. We are delighted to announce that the UK Pie Party will be at the festival, fundraising for HRCC, so make sure you come along to say ‘hi’ to the team and throw a cream pie or two!

Ending the weekend on a high, HRCC will be taking a step back in time on Sunday 9 July for Vintage Fair. Held at the stunning grounds of Cressing Temple Barns, Vintage Fair is one of the charity’s biggest fundraising events and offers a real retro experience. It is a celebration of all things from the bygone era including clothing, accessories and homewares to buy, plus a large display of classic cars, music, dancing and entertainment. Tickets cost £5 for adults, £4 for concessions and students, and under 16’s go free. If you are a stallholder and would like to attend this year’s event please contact the HRCC fundraising team on 01245 380 719, or email fundraising@helenrollason.org.uk
