A Vintage Day Out returns to Cressing Temple Barns!

Shoppers and classic vehicle enthusiasts, start your engines as Helen Rollason Cancer Charity invites vintage and retro lovers to roll back the years and dress to impress for the Vintage Weekend taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July. This famous annual event used to take place one day per year, but due to its success we have decided to create a whole weekend occasion!  

Celebrating all things vintage from a bygone era returning to Cressing Temple Barns, the ever-popular event is back for a day of live entertainment, classic vehicles, food, music, jive dancing, shopping and much more! Showcasing a myriad of vintage stalls, guests can expect affordable vintage fashion, retro second-hand items, beauty parlour, kitchenalia, fashion, jewellery, pre-loved furniture, antiques, collectables and much more!  

Food and drink will be available to purchase including hog roast, cocktails and prosecco from The Tipsy Grey Ltd, ice creams from Molly Moos Ices and Afternoon Teas from Lavender Blue Vintage Teas, among others.  

There will be live music from rock’n’roll band Kingsmen, performances from LJ’s Jive School where you can watch or join in with modern jive dancing and singing from the fabulous Harmonettes. 

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Zoe Jay said; We look forward to welcoming all of our guests to the beautiful grounds of Cressing Temple Barns on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of July for our Vintage Weekend!  

Sustainable shopping and its environmental impact are currently a hot topic so we are pleased to be doing our bit by endorsing this practice. The Vintage Weekend is an affordable and environmentally friendly way to acquire unique and new items whilst also supporting a worthy cause, Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. 

We’re a local charity serving our local community, and every penny raised at this event will go towards ensuring we continue to provide the best possible cancer care now and in the future.” 

Tickets on the day cost Adults £8, Concessions (age 65 +) £7, Children 16 and under £2. But if you pre-book your tickets online you can save £2 on each ticket price! A bargain!  Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.  

Classic car bookings are £10 for each day (which includes one vehicle with driver and one passenger)
