It was in 1999 that Helen Rollason declared her vision:
Good quality of life while coping with cancer is the most important gift a sick person can receive. It should be available to everyone.
Over 20 years later we are still fulfilling Helen’s wish, enabling quality of life while living with cancer. Here we look back at the history of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
1991
The Helen Rollason Appeal was launched with the aim of raising £5million for the charity.

2002
We opened our Rochelle House Support Centre in Chelmsford, Essex.

2003
We opened our Chingford Charity Shop on Old Church Road.

2003
We opened our South Woodford Charity Shop on George Lane.

2004
We opened our Sawbridgeworth Charity Shop on Bell Street.

We opened our Wickford Charity Shop on the High Street.

We opened our London Support Centre at North Middlesex Hospital, Edmonton, London N18.

We opened our first Burnham Charity Shop on the High Street.

We opened our Ongar Charity Shop on the High Street.

We opened our Witham Charity Shop on Newland Street.

We launched our very first Vintage Fair!

We opened our Danbury Charity Shop on Maldon Road.

We opened our Hertfordshire Support Centre at The Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth.

We launched our very first Christmas Fair!

We moved our Hertfordshire Support Centre to the Herts & Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford.

We opened our Southend Support Centre at St Luke’s Community Centre, Southend.

We celebrated our Witham Charity Shops 10 year anniversary.

We launched our very first Rural Ramble!

We celebrated 20 years of enabling quality of life while living with cancer.

We opened our West Essex Support Centre at LeisureZone in Harlow

We opened our North Essex Support Centre at Colchester Hospital

We announced our working collaboration with Spire Hartswood to offer reflexology at their premises based in Brentwood.
