EVENT CANCELLED – Christmas Gift Market

EVENT CANCELLED

We have been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel our Christmas Gift Market due to the new lockdown restrictions which were announced at the weekend. Our fundraising team will be busy contacting stall holders and people who have purchased tickets over the next few days. Please note all ticket holders costs will be fully refunded.

We are disappointed to have had to cancel our event but we will be back in 2021. If you have any questions please email our Fundraising Team on fundraising@helenrollason.org.uk

We will soon be releasing tickets for our 2020 Winter Raffle with a chance of winning £500; if you would like to purchase tickets please keep an eye on this page for further details.

Thank you everyone for your continued support of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

Soak up the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas with Helen Rollason Cancer Charity at their Christmas Gift Market on Saturday 28th November at Trinity Park, Ipswich!

We have an exciting variety of high-quality, unique gifts, decorations, crafts and festive foods to get you in the Christmas spirit. To comply with strict social distancing measures, this year we will be based at this exciting new location of Trinity Park (Home of the Suffolk Show).

The venue lends itself to a large well-ventilated open barn space which is undercover and will be set up to ensure compliance with current Government guidelines. Trinity Park itself holds the ‘good to go’ certification; the UK official mark to signal that a tourism or hospitality business has followed a Covid-19 risk assessment successfully.

We always ensure a wide variety of different stalls, from homemade crafts, food stalls, Christmas gifts, toys, unique gifts for men, women and children,  personalised items from local designers, boutiques and bespoke craftsmen including Lisa Jane Jewellery, Woodland Crafts, Suffolk Peace Creations, Great Leighs Honey, Charlotte Churchill Pottery, The Suffolk Hamper Company and Retro Barb Furniture. We always limit similar genres of sellers amongst our stall holders, to ensure happy shoppers and successful sellers.

Alongside the shopping stands, there will be a range of popular food and drink stalls, including The Tipsey Grey serving up alcoholic beverages including festive hot drinks, mulled wine and hot chocolate with Baileys. And even treats for our four legged furry friends from Toffs Treats Bakery.

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Community Fundraiser Karen Mitchell explains the extra safety measures we will be taking for this event; “We are very excited to be holding our Christmas Gift Market at Trinity Park; a lot of other Christmas Markets have had to be cancelled this year so we are making every effort to keep our event as safe as possible.

All shoppers and stall holders will be temperature checked upon entry and you will also be required to register with the NHS track and trace QR code system. We will be operating a one-way system on the day, with measures in place for stall distancing and crowd congestion control.  Face coverings must be worn at all times with sanitation stations at the entrance and throughout the event.
