Corporate Quiz Night comes to Chelmsford in aid of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity!

Join the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for a brilliant evening to spend with friends, entertain clients, reward staff or simply enjoy a good night out, all in aid of the charity at The Cloud FM County Ground, home of Essex County Cricket in Chelmsford. As part of the evening food will be available to all attendees, bar open from 6pm and a raffle with fantastic prizes.

A success for Christmas tree recycling 2024

Over the first weekend of January, a team of volunteers met at the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity centre in Hatfield Peverel, Essex. Fuelled by tea and bacon rolls, they set off around Essex to collect Christmas trees from residents in exchange for a donation to the charity. The trees were then delivered to sites around Essex where they were shredded and recycled. Almost 800 trees were collected, and around £15,000 was raised for the charity.

Gary’s Story

When Gary was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, he said the news hit him and his wife “like a ton of bricks”. While talking to his GP about how he felt, it was suggested that he contact Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. He’d heard of Helen Rollason but knew nothing of the charity. That was five years ago and, after an initial conversation with the Support Services Team, he has been a client ever since.
