East Herts Vets League support Helen Rollason Cancer Charity

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is delighted to announce they have received a donation from the East Herts Vet League of £1,000 over two seasons; this donation will fund the vital support for people living with cancer and specifically fund 40 counselling sessions or 20 reflexology sessions.

Tim Carey, Chairman of the East Herts Vets League said ”I am pleased that we were able to support Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for the second time thereby enabling to continue free support to those living with cancer in our area.”

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Community Fundraiser Karen Mitchell said; “We are really grateful to the East Herts Vets League for their support of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. Their donation will help us to continue supporting men and women with all types of cancer at all stages – whether newly diagnosed or longer-term, throughout treatment and after treatment is completed.

Providing support for cancer patients’ emotional well-being alongside their medical treatment continues to be at the core of the charity’s mission.”

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity enables quality of life to men and women at all stages of cancer. We appreciate that a cancer diagnosis will also affect those closest to the client and we therefore offer support to them too. The work we do really does make a difference;

“The counsellor has given me back my joy for life. She has taught me how to deal with my own concerns using methods enabling me to deal with fear and worries as they come along. I have hope again and even look to the future with plans that I had long shelved”.

“Would have been lost without you this last year and your continued support. Thank you for all you do”.

“The help I received was paramount to my recovery. I have nothing but praise for all”.
