London to Paris Cycle Ride

1st June to 5th June 2022

Join the team and bike from London to Paris for a truly unforgettable experience – make friends for life, push yourself beyond your limits, but most importantly – make memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime while raising funds for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity!

We’ll spend 4 days in the saddle, cycling 309 miles from capital city to capital city. Our adventure starts in London, taking us through glorious English countryside on our route from Kent to Dover. Once across the channel, we start cycling through France, remembering to keep to the right! We bike along quiet country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of Northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme.

A breathtaking finish awaits us as we reach the home stretch, cycling around the Arc de Triomphe and along the Champs Elysées, before reaching the piece de resistance, the Eiffel Tower! The cycling may get tough but the sense of achievement we’ll feel crossing the finish line and the euphoric atmosphere as we celebrate our achievements in this magnificent capital, the saddle soreness soon wears off!

Coast to Coast Cycle Ride

Our fully supported route takes in long, steep climbs over some of the highest passes in the Lake District and some equally impressive descents that will really blow the cobwebs away. We will pass woodland and pine forests, lakes, streams and moorland quilted with purple heather.

The support we receive on this ride is second to none, and we take care of all the details – from transporting luggage, providing refreshment stops and meals, to arranging accommodation and meals.

From the stunning mountains of the Lake District to the beautiful open moors of the Northern Pennines – all you have to do is hop on your bike and enjoy! Two coastlines, one objective. Our fully-supported route encompasses some of the best scenery Britain has to offer, as we take in long, steep climbs over some of the highest passes in the Lake District and some equally impressive descents that will really blow the cobwebs away.

Skydive Challenge

HRCC ChallengesMany people push themselves to the limit and make a skydive or parachute jump to raise funds for a worthwhile cause. UK Parachuting work with hundreds of sponsored charities in the UK and around the world. By raising a minimum amount of funds for these good causes you could get your jump for FREE.

If you want to experience every aspect of our sport on your very first jump, a Tandem Skydive is just the thing! Following a short pre-jump briefing, you will enjoy the thrill of free fall and even learn the basics of steering and landing a modern ‘square’ gliding parachute, while securely attached to a highly experienced instructor. All you need to do is smile and enjoy your skydive.

With a tandem parachute especially designed for two people, you will board an aircraft and soar to around 13,000 feet (approximately two miles high!). When you and your instructor leave the plane, you will fall at about 120 mph, descending to 5,000 feet in around 40 seconds. At this point, your instructor will open the parachute and fly you safely back to earth! During the six minutes or so under the parachute, you will enjoy breath-taking and unique views of the local area and beyond. We guarantee that your tandem skydive will be one of the greatest experiences of your life.

It’s no wonder this charity challenge is the most highly regarded trekking challenge in the UK!

A tough challenge, yes, but with our support and exceptional care and encouragement we can conquer this classic charity challenge.   We’ll be driving the team through the night, guiding each member up each mountain and even giving the occasional hug and high five when required.  Join our team and tick this classic UK challenge off your list.
