Our aim is to provide a safe space where you can be yourself and don’t have to put on a brave face. A place where you can have enjoyable, relaxing and calming treatments in the knowledge that you are not alone – that everyone who comes through our door is experiencing the same feelings as you and facing the same difficulties.
At the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity we offer a range of care and support through the use of complementary therapies as well as counselling, mindfulness, yoga and more. Or if you prefer just drop in for a cup of tea and a chat and pick up some information. We’re here to support men and women with all types of cancer at all stages – newly diagnosed, throughout treatment and during recovery.
All of our locations provide a welcoming and relaxing environment where people living with cancer can go – with their families, friends and carers – to talk through any concerns or just a friendly chat.
We offer holistic treatments and both in person and online counselling to support the general wellbeing of those diagnosed with cancer or family members and loved ones.
We work with a number of support groups, workshops and courses where you can meet and talk to others who understand what you are going through.
Our centres support clients with all types of cancer at all stages, whether newly diagnosed or longer term, throughout and after completion of treatment. Founded in 1999, the charity is the legacy of BBC broadcaster Helen Rollason, whose vision was: “Good quality of life while coping with cancer is the most important gift a sick person can receive. It should be available to everyone.”
