Volunteers are an integral part of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity; without them we could not support those living with cancer. We are always looking to grow our group of volunteers as our team of paid staff is small. Whether you can help for a full day, for a couple of hours a week or even on an adhoc basis then we would love to hear from you. There are a variety of roles which you could undertake and we have something for everybody.

Are you a wiz at eBay? Do you have time to spare each week to help list and package items ready for postage? We have a growing eBay army of volunteers who bring in thousands of pounds for the charity each month and we are always looking for new recruits!
We have hundreds of collection tins in shops and businesses all over the region which need collecting and replacing on a regular basis. If you were able to spare a couple of hours on an adhoc basis helping the tin collection team to gather in tins from areas within Essex, Herts, Suffolk or London, then contact the Fundraising Office on 01245 380719.
We have a variety of roles in our Charity Office in Hatfield Peverel from data input, envelope stuffing, event, fundraising and marketing support. Call our Fundraising Team on 01245 380719 to discuss how we could best use your skills to help support our charity.
Our headline events always need support from volunteers to help raise the maximum amount of profit we can. From marshalling cycle rides and charity walks, to manning stalls, selling tickets and bucket collecting – there is something for everyone!

I volunteer at this incredible charity on a regular basis at their events; Ride for Helen is one of my favourites and I am very proud to help out on the day. There is such a team spirit and everyone gets stuck in.
I chose to volunteer with the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity because it is a local charity which relies heavily on unpaid volunteers; they are very prudent with their spending and a very high percentage of the income it brings in goes directly to free patient care.
I love volunteering at the fundraising office every week where this is always a cup of tea and a friendly face to greet me; HRCC is a fantastic charity which initially helped me so now I want to give something back.
